Our Mission

Bees are essential to Canada’s rich biodiversity. As key pollinators, they help flowers bloom, crops grow, and ecosystems thrive. Their role is vital to sustaining Canada’s world-renowned natural environment and the overall health of our planet. Without them, our ecosystems—and our food supply—are at risk. Through the Birks for Bees initiative, we collaborate with Canadian organizations, like-minded partners, and brands to raise awareness and take action to protect pollinators across the country.

Our Partners

Pollinator Partnership Canada

Pollinator Partnership Canada (P2C) is a registered charity dedicated to the protection and promotion of pollinators and their ecosystems through conservation, education, and research.

Alvéole

Urban beekeeping supports the production of local honey, pollination and urban greening. Urban areas make for an ideal habitat for bees due to the cities' ecological regulations. Birks is proud to home beehives in Montreal and Toronto, both managed by Alvéole.
