HOLIDAY SHIPPING & RETURN POLICY

Order by Sunday, December 15th for delivery by December 24th, 2024. For order with engraving, December 2nd for delivery by December 24th, 2024.

For all regular-priced merchandise purchased online at MaisonBirks.com or in a Maison Birks or Birks Royalmount store from December 1st - 13th, 2024, returns and exchanges will be accepted until January 14th, 2025.


SHIPPING POLICY

All prices herein are expressed in Canadian currency.

  • Due to a Canada Post labour disruption we will be shipping your order with FedEx.
  • We ship Express. Shipping may take between 2 to 5 business days after fulfilment, remote areas might take one or two days longer.
  • Shipping is free of charge for orders shipping to Canada.
  • For orders outside Canada, contact our Client Services Team at [email protected]. Please provide your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, as well as the item you would like to buy and its size (if applicable). Please note that only select Birks branded products can be shipped internationally. For non-Birks branded items, please check the brand’s website for purchasing. It is the client's responsibility to pay any applicable duties and sales taxes on the items shipped outside of Canada

Please note that there may be an additional delay for orders that require a merchandise transfer from one of our stores. Please allow an additional 5-7 business days for engraved items to be shipped. Special order requests may take longer to process.

Note: Due to a high volume of orders, there may be additional delays during promotional or sale periods.

Orders must pass verification and must be shipped to a single address. Maison Birks is not responsible for delivery delays due to unforeseen circumstances outside our reasonable control such as severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, etc. Orders will be shipped by Canada Post or FedEx and require signature. Please allow up to fourteen (14) business days for shipments to remote locations. Maison Birks does not ship to P.O. boxes. Special orders, engravings and orders that require merchandise transfers are not within the delivery guarantee.


RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

ONLINE ORDERS

For select regular-priced merchandise purchased online at MaisonBirks.com

Maison Birks will provide an exchange or refund within 30 days of delivery, provided merchandise has not been worn, altered, engraved, or special-ordered. All claims, returns, battery replacement, or warranty service must be accompanied by proof of purchase, original packaging and warranty materials. All returns are subject to a quality inspection to ensure the merchandise meets our return policy criteria.

Watches

All watches purchased on MaisonBirks.com can only be returned or exchanged by mail within 30 days of delivery.

Items available for purchase exclusively on MaisonBirks.com

All brands exclusively sold on our website may be returned to any Maison Birks location.

Chaumet

Chaumet items purchased on MaisonBirks.com can only be returned or exchanged by mail within 30 days of delivery.

Maison Birks Sale Merchandise

For all sales purchases, we will accept an exchange or refund within 10 days of delivery.

Gift With Purchase

Merchandise must be returned with the gift(s) to be eligible for a full refund provided both have not been worn, altered, engraved, or special-ordered.

Birks Diamond Engagement Rings

If, within 60 days from the date of delivery, you are not completely satisfied with your Birks diamond engagement ring, Maison Birks will allow you to benefit from an exchange or a refund upon presentation of the sales receipt. Learn more about the Birks Diamond Guarantee.


INSTRUCTIONS

If you have received a prepaid shipping label with your order, please follow the instructions provided on the return form included with your order. If a prepaid shipping label was not received with your order, please contact Client Services Team by sending an email to [email protected].

Returns must be made within 30 days of delivery using the prepaid return shipping label sent to you. These instructions must be followed exactly; failure to do so will prevent the processing of your return, and Maison Birks will not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation.

1. Call our Client Service Centre (if you did not receive a prepaid shipping label)

Please send an email to [email protected]. If your order is eligible for return, we will provide you with a Return Authorization Form and a prepaid shipping label.

2. Package Your Merchandise

The merchandise returned must be received in sellable condition. Enclose the merchandise and the printed Return Authorization Form, the packing slip, original packaging, and any original warranty.

3. Ship Your Package Using the Prepaid Return Shipping Label

You must use the prepaid return shipping label sent to you. If you choose to use an alternative shipping method, the return may not process. Maison Birks will not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation if the package is lost, stolen, damaged, or mishandled.

4. Processing Your Return/Exchange

Upon receiving your return, the item will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance Department. Once the returned merchandise is accepted for return or exchange, your refund or replacement item will be processed within a few business days.


RETURN OR EXCHANGE AT A MAISON BIRKS RETAIL LOCATION

We accept returns and exchanges on regular priced items purchased online or at a Maison Birks store in Canada within 30 days of your original purchase. All watches bought in store may only be returned to a Maison Birks store that is an authorized retailer of the brand of the watch purchased. Chaumet merchandise bought in store may only be returned to a Maison Birks store that is an authorized retailer of the brand purchased. All brands exclusively sold on our website may be returned to any Maison Birks location. For all sales purchases, we will accept an exchange or refund within 10 days of delivery.

For items purchased online: all returns must include your Maison Birks web order packing slip. All watches purchased online can only be returned by mail. Refunds will only be issued to the same tender used for the original purchase. Gift recipients will have the option of exchanging the item or receiving a store credit.

Birks Royalmount: Birks Royalmount will only accept Birks jewellery and Bridal Bridal items. The store will not accept any other brands.
