This legend inspires the artisans of the nearby Shinshu Watch Studio, who crafted a dial for this hand-wound Spring Drive timepiece that echoes the color, texture, and fractured look of the lake’s frozen surface.

The watch is powered by the Spring Drive Caliber 9R31, which uses a Dual Spring Barrel to deliver a 72-hour power reserve when fully wound. Its finely executed finishing and the power reserve indicator can be admired through the exhibition case back, completing a piece that beautifully blends craftsmanship, nature, and mechanical artistry.
