Breitling’s ultimate all-purpose sports watch, the Chronomat has played a pivotal role in the brand’s modern history. Introduced in 1984, it marked a bold return to mechanical watchmaking and was inspired by a collaboration with Italy’s Frecce Tricolori aerobatic team.

The Chronomat B01 42 features an instantly recognizable bezel with its four raised rider tabs at the 15-minute marks. It has a fully-integrated signature Rouleaux bracelet with micro adjustments on both sides of the clasp. True to the original, the Chronomat is powered by the in-house Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01. It is a tried and tested COSC-certified chronograph caliber with a 6 o’clock date and a 70-hour power reserve.
