As with all Breitling redesigns that pull from the archives, the new Superocean perfectly balances the nostalgia of its lineage with a fresh new look. Broad hands and indexes coated in luminescent Super LumiNova ® allow for superior readability underwater. At 300 m (1000 ft) water resistance, this watch triples the minimum requirement for dive watches. The metal bracelet strap has a folding clasp that allows for micro adjustments of up to 15 mm for easy wear over rashies and dive suits.

Its scratch proof ceramic inlayed bezel means it will never wear or fade. For safety, the bezel is bidirectional with a patented lock. This watch is also shock, sand and saltwater resistant. Its automatic Breitling Caliber 17 comes with a two year warranty and approximate 38 hour power reserve.
