At Maison Birks, the application is quick and simple, making it more convenient than ever to finance your purchase. Maison Birks offers a variety of financing plans that may allow you to pay up to 30 months interest free. In addition, the Maison Birks Flexiticard^® reward program offers complimentary jewellery cleaning, a gift certificate during the month of your birthday, a 1% annual purchase rebate, invitations to our special events, special offers, and many more. Every year, on the month of your birth, Flexiti clients will receive a birthday certificate worth $50.00, as part of their Flexiti reward program. This certificate may be redeemed in-store only and is non-transferable.

No. Paying more than the required minimum payment will not increase your future minimum monthly payment amount. Any additional amount paid is applied directly to your outstanding balance, which can help reduce the total balance faster and, in some cases, shorten the repayment period. The required minimum payment is determined by the financing plan and remains unchanged as long as payments are made on time.

For eligible cardholders, Installments enabled by Visa is a simple way to pay for a qualifying purchase at participating merchants in fixed, equal Installments made over a defined period of time using your eligible card and there is no additional line of credit, credit check or a new account. Installment s enabled by Visa is offered by participating banks and enabled by Visa’s payment technology for Visa and non Visa cards.

If your card issuing bank offers Instalments enabled by Visa for your eligible card, and you make a qualifying purchase at participating merchants, you may be presented with an option to select an Instalment plan at checkout. The terms and conditions of your Instalment plan are set by your card issuing bank. If you select to pay using an Instalment plan and are paying with a credit card, the total purchase amount will be deducted from your available credit limit at the time of purchase. Please contact your card issuing bank or review your cardholder agreement for more information.

You can shop on our website or instore and initiate checkout as usual. At checkout, simply enter your card information. If your card is eligible for Installments enabled by Visa, and if your purchase is a qualifying purchase, you’ll see the available Installment plans at checkout. Simply choose a plan, review the Instalment plan terms set by your issuing bank and once you accept them, you can complete your order. It’s that easy. Your card issuing bank will bill you in fixed equal Installment payments over a defined period of time per the terms of the plan you selected and your cardholder agreement.

If your card or purchase is not eligible for an Installment plan, no Instalment plan will be displayed at checkout. Note, if you select an Installment plan through Installments enabled by Visa, your entire purchase (including shipping and taxes) will be split into fixed equal Instalment payments over a defined period of time by your issuing bank, and if you paid using a credit card, your available credit will decrease by the total purchase amount at the time of purchase. Please contact your card issuing bank or review your cardholder agreement for more information.

If your card or purchase is not eligible for an Installment plan, no Instalment plan will be displayed at checkout.

Installments enabled by Visa allows you to use your eligible card for qualifying purchases and pay over a defined period of time in fixed, equal Instalment payments. For a purchase made with Installments enabled by Visa, you’ll be billed by your card issuing bank in fixed, equal amounts. If you miss an Installment plan payment, your issuing bank may charge you a fee, cancel your Installment plan, and/or charge you interest on your Installment purchase. At checkout, you will be able t o review the exact terms for an Installment plan. Please contact your card issuing bank with any questions or review your cardholder agreement for more information.

No credit check is required, because making a purchase with Installments enabled by Visa does not create an additional line of credit or increase your existing credit. Any Installment options offered at checkout are provided by your card issuing bank, using your existing credit limit on your eligible card.

Visa’s payment technology enables participating banks to provide Installment plans to their eligible cardholders with non Visa cards. Please contact your issuing bank to see if your card is eligible for Installments enabled by Visa.

Visa will use your card information to check your eligibility with your card issuing bank and match you with eligible plans (provided by your card issuing bank), if any. Visa will then provide your selected Installment plan to your card issuing bank for processing.

Installments enabled by Visa are presently not available on all cards and are only offered by participating banks to their eligible cardholders on qualifying purchases. Eligibility for Installments enabled by Visa is determined by your card issuing bank. Please contact your card issuing bank about availability of Installments enabled by Visa and your eligibility.

- Your card issuing bank calculates the exact payment details applicable to your Installment plan. For example, if the Install men t plan is monthly, the monthly Installment payment amount for your Installment plan may be calculated by taking the total purchase amount, inclusive of taxes and shipping, and dividing it into equal monthly payments for the duration of the Installment plan selected (e.g., 6 or /12 months). If there are fees or an annual percentage rate (APR) associated with the Instalment plan (i.e., APR or monthly Instalment fee), those amounts will be included in the monthly payment amount billed by your issuing bank, unless otherwise s et forth in your cardholder agreement or the terms applicable to your Installment plan.
- The Installment payment amount and the total Installment fees (if applicable) are provided on the checkout page when the Installment plan is displayed. You should closely review the terms of your plan, including any Installment fees or APR, prior to completing your purchase. Once you accept the terms, you can complete your purchase.

- Fees or APR associated with Installments enabled by Visa are presented at check out, along with the specific plan’s additional terms and conditions set by your card issuing bank.
- Billing, payment, and servicing of Installment plans are managed through your card issuing bank. Please contact your card issuing bank or review your cardholder agreement for more information.

Payment and servicing of your Installment plan is through your card issuing bank. The Birks Canadian Diamond Identification Number is a unique number given to each Birks Canadian diamond that meets our standards and has been reviewed by our gemological experts. It appears on the front of your Birks Canadian Diamond Guarantee Card included with your Birks Canadian Diamond Certificate. It also appears on the certificate itself. The Birks Canadian Diamond Identification Number is also engraved on the inside of your ring.

You may use this identification number to trace your Canadian diamond to the mine it was sourced from using our Birks Canadian Diamond Tracer.

When considering a child’s bracelet for adult wear, ensure the length of the bracelet is at least 6 inches. For kids’ necklaces, it is recommended for the chain to be at least 15 inches for it to be suitable for adults.

Maison Birks does not issue a physical card for an eGift card purchased online. Physical cards are only issued when purchasing a Maison Birks gift card in store.

Maison Birks gift cards and eGift cards allow you to choose the amount you would like to offer, and the recipient can redeem it for merchandise of their choice worth an equal or lesser value. After you purchase an eGift card, you will receive an order confirmation email with the recipient and sender information. Once the card has been activated, the recipient will receive the eGift card details (unique card number, balance and CVV code) and the sender will receive the eGift card activation receipt email.

Maison Birks eGift cards can be purchased using a valid credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or China UnionPay) or PayPal online. They can also be purchased using another Maison Birks eGift card. The Maison Birks FlexitiCard cannot be used to purchase a Maison Birks eGift card.

Once your order is accepted, it will take an estimated 1-3 business days for the recipient to receive the eGift card details.

Yes, you may return an item purchased using a Maison Birks gift card or eGift card.

Unfortunately, once the eGift card order has been placed, Maison Birks can no longer make any changes to the order.

To ensure you've received a legitimate email from Maison Birks or Birks, please always check that the sender uses the domain @maisonbirks.com or @birks.com. If you receive an email from a sender that does not use either of those domains, the email should be considered fraudulent and deleted immediately.
