Shipping is free of charge for orders shipping within Canada. We do ship most products branded Birks internationally. For orders shipped outside of Canada, it shall be the client's responsibility to pay any applicable shipping, duties and sales taxes on the items. Please contact us for more information.

Log into your account and click on “Order History.” Your order will be in one of the following statuses:

New: Your order has been received and is awaiting processing.

Processing: Your order has been processed by our team. If further information is required; we will reach out to you.

Shipped: Your order has left our distribution centre, and the shipping information will be sent to your email address within 24 hours.

Returned: Your order has been processed for a return and refund.

Cancelled: Your order has been processed for cancellation and a refund.

We only ship within Canada. However, most products branded Birks may be shipped internationally.

For orders from outside of Canada, contact our Client Services team at info@birks.com. Please provide your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, as well as the item you would like to buy and its size or length (if applicable).

If there is a jewellery piece that is not available in the material and size of your liking, you can contact our Client Experience team at info@birks.com to inquire about the possibility of a special order.

For online purchases, we currently accept Visa, MasterCard, FlexitiCard^®, UnionPay, Maison Birks Gift Cards, and Paypal.

Maison Birks offers a selection of paired earrings. While we are unable to split a pair of earrings to sell just one, we will gladly assist you in finding a new single earring to style your current piece.

Our payment provider may use automated mobile verification for credit card orders. Maison Birks will never ask for this code. In cases where you may receive a call requesting the code sent to you, do not do so. We advise you to hang up immediately and call your bank using the number on the back of your credit card.

If you did not received your mobile verification code, we recommend communication with your financial institution to ensure your information is up to date. Please note, our payment operations team may reach out to you for further verification.

For security measures, Maison Birks will not change the address of delivery once an order has been placed, nor reroute any orders once they have been shipped. If you have accidentally placed an order with the wrong delivery address, please contact our Client Experience team to cancel your order. You will then need to place a new order with your correct address information. Kindly note that your order may undergo a new verification process by our anti-fraud team.

We cannot guarantee a specific shipping date. We also do not hold shipments once orders have been placed. We will provide you with the shipping details of your order as soon as the tracking number becomes available to our team. Shipping may take between 2-5 business days after fulfillment. Remote areas may require an additional 1-2 days.

For all sales purchases, we will accept an exchange or refund within 10 days of delivery.

For select regular-priced purchases made online at MaisonBirks.com, Maison Birks will provide an exchange or refund within 30 days of delivery, provided merchandise has not been worn, altered, engraved, or special-ordered. All merchandise purchased with cryptocurrency is final sale. The merchandise must be received by mail or in a store location. All watches, Chaumet items, or brands available exclusively online and purchased via MaisonBirks.com can only be returned or exchanged by mail. For all Birks diamond engagement rings, if you are not completely satisfied within 60 days of the purchase date, Maison Birks will offer you the option of an exchange or a refund upon presentation of your proof of purchase. For any claim, return, watch battery replacement, or warranty service request, proof of purchase, original packaging, and warranty documentation must be provided. All returns are subject to a quality inspection to ensure they meet the requirements of our return policy.

Yes, you may return an item purchased using a Maison Birks gift card or eGift card.

Returns for purchases made with Installments enabled by Visa follow our standard return process. Please contact your card issuing bank for details about how a refund credit will apply to your account for purchases made with Installments enabled by Visa.

Maison Birks offers a complete range of repair services on selected jewellery and timepieces including battery replacement, pearl, cord and bead re-stringing, ring sizing, etc.

Please note that a watch bought in store will only be accepted for servicing at a Maison Birks store that is an authorized retailer of the brand. If you are unable to bring your watch or jewellery for servicing at an authorized Maison Birks store, please contact client services for more information. We will not be able to communicate any cost involved, until the item has been assessed at our Atelier team.

For repairs initialized online:

In the event of a free battery replacements, or if a watch is deemed not repairable by our Maison Birks Atelier watchmakers, an administration fee of $75 will be charged. If the estimate of repair is refused, a $75 shipping fee will be charged. If the service is approved, no shipping charges will be applied.

*Please note that going forward and in accordance with the conditions of the Birks Watch Guarantee card (“Guarantee Card”) - Maison Birks will require that you present your Guarantee Card each time you wish to benefit from complimentary watch battery replacements.

All jewellery items, with the exception of Chaumet branded items, may be brought to your local Maison Birks store for repairs.

For repair and servicing on watches and Chaumet items, your item must be brought to a Maison Birks store that is an authorized retailer of the branded item. If you are not located near a Maison Birks store, please contact us.

We offer engraving services on select items. When shopping online, eligible items will give you the option to input your engraving/embossing. For more information, please bring the article you would like engraved to any of our Maison Birks stores or contact us at info@birks.com.

Some items have the option to engrave a personalized message of your choice. Engraving fonts that are available are Monotype Corsiva and Beaufort Pro, and it is possible to engrave any character on a standard keyboard. Please note we cannot engrave or emboss emoticons.

Depending on the material of the original box that comes with your piece, friction may occur and damage the box. Therefore, we advise not to use the watch or jewellery box for transport. The most optimal option for safe and convenient transport is a dedicated watch or jewellery travel pouch. They are compact, protective, and specifically designed for travel. At Maison Birks, we offer a Replacement Cost Appraisal (for insurance purposes) for jewellery acquired at Maison Birks or elsewhere. We do not offer Market Price Appraisals and do provide information on the item's historical context. We do not buy back pre-owned jewellery or watches at the moment.

No. Paying more than the required minimum payment will not increase your future minimum monthly payment amount. Any additional amount paid is applied directly to your outstanding balance, which can help reduce the total balance faster and, in some cases, shorten the repayment period. The required minimum payment is determined by the financing plan and remains unchanged as long as payments are made on time.

For eligible cardholders, Installments enabled by Visa is a simple way to pay for a qualifying purchase at participating merchants in fixed, equal Installments made over a defined period of time using your eligible card and there is no additional line of credit, credit check or a new account. Installment s enabled by Visa is offered by participating banks and enabled by Visa’s payment technology for Visa and non Visa cards.

The Birks Canadian Diamond Identification Number is a unique number given to each Birks Canadian diamond that meets our standards and has been reviewed by our gemological experts. It appears on the front of your Birks Canadian Diamond Guarantee Card included with your Birks Canadian Diamond Certificate. It also appears on the certificate itself. The Birks Canadian Diamond Identification Number is also engraved on the inside of your ring.

After you purchase an eGift card, you will receive an order confirmation email with the recipient and sender information. Maison Birks gift cards and eGift cards can be used at any Maison Birks store across Canada and/or online at MaisonBirks.com. You can use your gift card/eGift card to purchase all products and services offered by Maison Birks. You cannot use a gift card or eGift card as payment on any Maison Birks financing account.

Maison Birks eGift cards can be purchased using a valid credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or China UnionPay) or PayPal online. They can also be purchased using another Maison Birks eGift card. The Maison Birks FlexitiCard cannot be used to purchase a Maison Birks eGift card.

Once your order is accepted, it will take an estimated 1-3 business days for the recipient to receive the eGift card details.

Yes, you may return an item purchased using a Maison Birks gift card or eGift card.

Unfortunately, once the eGift card order has been placed, Maison Birks can no longer make any changes to the order.

To ensure you've received a legitimate email from Maison Birks or Birks, please always check that the sender uses the domain @maisonbirks.com or @birks.com. If you receive an email from a sender that does not use either of those domains, the email should be considered fraudulent and deleted immediately.
